The Friends of St Peter’s invites you to get actively involved in our projects.
From the tranquillity of the cemetery and the war memorials to the chime of bells above Berkhamsted High Street, the rich heritage of St Peter’s is greatly valued by locals and visitors, parishioners and non-churchgoers alike. These are cherished community assets for everyone. The Friends are working constantly to improve the historic graveyards, to conserve and restore the beautiful medieval parish church, and to raise funds to support this vital work.
The Friends is entirely voluntary and we have no paid staff, so we rely entirely on the help and generosity of the people of Berkhamsted and our supporters further afield. If you would like to support the care and conservation of this irreplaceable piece of British heritage, please support us.
The Friends of St Peter’s is a non-religious organisation and it is open to everyone, whether you are involved in the Church or not. Please help us as we enhance these beautiful assets for the Berkhamsted community and ensure their preservation for future generations.
