Anne was their only daughter. She was born 15th March 1810 and baptised at St Mary’s Watford on 6 May 1810. In the 1851 Census, she was described as a ‘White Smith and Bell Hanger’, having taken on her father’s business the previous year.

This unusual memorial was in danger of toppling down the bank of the Terrace, only being held in position by a small tree root.  This was one of the 19 memorials restored in 2018.
